I’ve just received an unacceptably disrespectful response to a course redesign proposal I have rejected, and so I simply must subject my interlocutor to public shame. I won’t name the guilty party – but I bet you all can guess who would write such a nefarious email to me:
It is a pity your response is so predictably reactionary – I have in fact reorganised the entire social research course around an intervention between Badiou and statistics, building on his existing work with set theory. The standard deviation of the male against the asymptotic limit of the female, or something to that effect. Oh well, that’ll have to wait.
